  • One two tank boat dive to the Vandenberg wreck
  • The cost for this add-on will be contingent on the amount of individuals interested in the dive

A $ 150.00 trip deposit is due at time of RSVP to hold the spot

 

Flights should be booked to arrive at Miami International Airport before 11:00AM on the 16th of May and departure should be after 1:00PM on the 19th.

Base trip includes Dbl Occupancy. Typically the rooms include 2 Queen Beds. Single Occupancy wil be based on availability

Rental equipment is for the day.

If you would like to be added to the group transportation, please be sure to arrange your flights so you are at MIA on the 18th by 11:00AM Additionally be sure your departure on the 21st is after 1:00PM. If you are doing the Key West Add-on your departure from MIA will be on the 23rd.

For this option, payments will be broken up into 4 even payments with the first payment due by Feb 1 and the final payment due on May 1.

KEY LARGO DIVING OPTIONS

For this trip you select just the base 4 PM reef dives (only option for new divers) or select any of the other DEEP or reef dives. For the AM Deep dive you must be a certified Advanced Diver, Deep Diver, or in a class.







Please note, due to the tight schedule if you are selecting to do the Friday AM deep dive, you cannot select the Friday AM Reef dive. Also, if you plan to do the deep AM dive it is also recommended to skip the Saturday AM reef dive. As a diver you are responsible for keep track of your own dive times.

Nitrox is available and is extra; $10.00 per tank. You must be nitrox certified or in a class to use Nitrox. ** If you intend to do all of the dives available for this trip, specifically the morning deep and PM dives, it is highly recommended that Nitrox be used.

KEY WEST ADD-ON

This year we are adding an optional excursion to Key West to specifically dive the Vandenberg Wreck. It sits in water 145' deep and is about 95 TO 100 ft. depth to the deck. This world class wreck is over 520 ft. in length. It is the largest most accessible artificial reef. This World War II troop transport also served as a missile tracker during the cold war. Her signature giant radar dishes were used to track the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsules. Our guided dive on the deck will lead you in exploration of its unique super structure, radar dishes, bridge, com-rooms and crown nest on an air profile.  You must be a certified Advanced diver or certified Deep diver for this excursion. This cost for this add on will vary and is currently based on a minimum of 4 divers. All accommodations are double occupancy and the package includes transportation to Key West and back to Miami. The add-on Itinerary is as follows: 1. Depart Key Largo on the 21st and Arrive in Key West. 2. Dive the Vandenberg - 2 Tank Dive 8:00AM to 1:00PM 3. Depart Key West for Miami - Overnight 4. Depart Miami on the 23rd. Based on 4 persons choosing this add-on the cost is estimated to be 435.00 Per Person.
