2026 Driver / Coach Agreement

DRIVER / COACH AGREEMENT

February  2026

TWIN LAKES WATER SKI PARK

Below are the responsibilities of the driver/coach at Twin Lakes:

  1. The driver will record all sets driven, as well as the type of member/guest pulled, and provide that information to the Twin Lakes owners periodically during the season.  The driver will make sure on a daily basis that Google Sheets reflects any limited member or guest sets the driver pulled.

  2. The driver will monitor the boats and lakes and report any mechanical or operational issues to the Twin Lakes owners.  The driver will contact the Boat Committee (which is made up of Mike Obrien, Aryeh Lazarus, JJ Paulovich and Jon Streeter) when oil changes or maintenance to boats are due or required.  The Boat Committee will then coordinate with members, owners and drivers to get the maintenance completed.

  3. The driver will make sure there is at least ¼ tank of gas in the boat any time pulling a skier.

  4. The driver will work with members and owners to clean the interior, mirrors, windows and exterior sides of the boats as needed.  The club will provide cleaning products.

  5. The driver will work with members and owners to maintain the slalom courses on both lakes.  The club will provide course supplies.

  6. The driver will check that anyone who skis at the site has completed the paperwork for their level (gold, limited, guest, etc.).  There are QR codes posted at the site to make this easier for all involved.  For informational purposes, limited members pay the club $70 per set and are limited to ten sets after which they must become a gold member.  Guests of gold members pay the club $50 per set.  Each gold member guest is limited to 5 sets, after which they must become a member.

  7. A set consists of 6 consecutive passes.  If the site is not busy, the driver can allow gold members or owners to ski 8 passes.  There will be no split sets.  There is a presumption that a driver on-site who has signed this agreement will pull all limited members unless the site is busy and sets are being pulled on both lakes.

  8. At the end of the day the driver will make sure all boats are properly stored on the lifts, keys are placed in the owner shed, and all the sheds and gate are locked.  If a member or owner takes a boat out separately he/she is responsible for putting it back on the lift and properly storing it.

  9. All drivers must maintain a current rating of Trained Driver or higher with US Waterski.  Maintaining a Trained Driver (or higher) rating ensures that practice driven by the driver is be covered by US Water Ski insurance.

  10.  If the driver is not a gold member and wants to ski at Twin Lakes, the driver will assist extensively with maintenance of the site in exchange for that skiing.  In addition to the tasks listed in 1-9 above, this assistance will include cleaning the hot tub, landscaping, general cleaning and tidying of the site, one off projects, etc.  Only one driver, who is selected by the member/driver committee and who has committed to driving extensively during prime hours, can take advantage of this arrangement per season.  If a regular driver is also a gold member who is signed up for the “work discount,” they will perform this type of work at the site to the same extent expected of all gold members and owners, but they will not be expected to perform additional work beyond what is expected of gold members (except as listed 1-9 above for all regular drivers).

  11. When a driver who has signed this agreement is available at the site, skiers must sign up 24 hours in advance on Google Sheets for a specific time slot.  If the skier does not sign up in advance, whether the driver is available to accommodate the skier is at the driver’s discretion.

  12. The driver is not an employee of Twin Lakes or Ski Delight Inc.  The driver operates independently and will separately sign the Twin Lakes liability waiver.

  13. If the driver has any issues please call one of the members of the member/driver committee (Aryeh Lazarus, Dov Lazarus, Mike Obrien, Jon Streeter or Jenna Voss).

  14. Above all else, SAFETY is the prime consideration!
