I, the undersigned, hereby declare and affirm that I have read this document and I understand its contents and I hereby acknowledge that I have executed the foregoing mentioned Disclaimer and Consent for and on behalf of the child named herein, as the parent or legal guardian of such a child:
All information supplied by me is correct, true and all requisite questions have been answered to the best of my knowledge. This disclaimer does not contain a hold harmless clause.
1. I/My child shall at all times conform to any and all Public Health Visitor/Participation Guidelines communicated to me/ them. My child will respect the instructor’s requests and abide by their decisions at all times. Failure to do so may result in removal from the activity.
2. I understand Redhills Adventure Ltd. offers active, physical sporting outdoor activities. Where required, my child will wear MASK/ EYE PROTECTION at all times while in the game zones. Removal of FACE PROTECTION in game zones will result in immediate removal from the activity. I understand that by removing masks/ eye protection I/he/she could incur serious eye damage, therefore face protection must be kept on at all times.
3. Redhills Adventure uses Garda Vetted and trained instructors. All our activities are strictly supervised and we are experienced in dealing with large groups and young children. I agree, in the unlikely event that I/my child causes a disruption to Redhills Adventure Ltd. staff and/ or other participants, resulting from unsafe and/ or unruly behaviour, the management reserves the right to remove any participant from activities and/ or the site without any refund offered. Parents/ Guardians will be contacted.
4. It is understood that all equipment provided by Redhills Adventure Ltd. will be returned undamaged. Damaged equipment due to misuse or missing equipment may incur a charge.
5. It is understand the nature of the activities I/my child is about to take part in and the risk of serious bodily injury associated with same activities and have understood the rules and guidelines as explained. I confirm that my child is coherent and not under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substances. It is understood I/my child will follow the safety guidelines, policies, briefings and all terms & conditions presented at the time of booking or as displayed on signage onsite.
6. Should I/my child fall ill after my visit or show any of the symptoms of a potential infectious illness, I will notify the centre by contacting info@redhillsadventure.ie immediately. Reschedules may not be guaranteed and remains at the sole discretion of senior management, refunds will not be given.
7. For Airsoft and Splatmaster, it is understood I/my child agrees to have legs and arms covered and for Archery Tag, I/my child will wear long sleeves. My child will adhere to appropriate footwear suitable for both grass and gravel terrain. I understand that paintball is an active sporting game involving the elimination of opponents via the firing of paintballs from a paintball gun. I understand that Airsoft is an active sporting game involving the elimination of opponents via the firing of BBs from a chrono-tested gun. I recognise that projectiles fired from guns may bruise/ break skin. I have instructed my child to conform to all safety rules in force on the site, in particular the wearing of safety equipment which is issued on site and to obey all marshals safety rules and instructions. I recognise that there could be hazards onsite: man-made structures, fallen trees, dead branches, sharp objects, holes etc and that care should be taken at all times on all activities. My child and/ or I will conform to all safety rules in force on the site, in particular the wearing of safety equipment which is issued on site and to obey all staff safety rules and instructions as presented in the safety briefing and throughout the sessions of all activities.
8. For content and legal purposes anyone who is both a participant and under 16 years of age at the time of the event is considered a minor and herewith considered a minor/ child and must be signed for by a parent or legal guardian.
9. Visitors will be designated a waiting or sheltered area upon your arrival. You must stay within your designated area when not participating in activities. Access to unsupervised zones are strictly prohibited. We are not responsible for any visitor outside their stated booking times.
10. Please do not leave valuables in your mode of transport as we are not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to your property when using the car park.
I agree to my child’s participation in the activities outlines in accordance with the terms set out above. The School will indemnify Redhills Adventure Ltd. in respect of legal liability arising solely from the actions of the School it’s servants or agents and in accordance with the Indemnity to Principals clause contained in the School Policy.
A copy of this declaration must be retained by the Insured and made available for the Company upon request.
All information collected is subject to the Articles as stipulated accordingly under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and guidelines under the Data Protection Act 2018 including a right to request information from any participant, direct contact under Legitimate Interest and including the legal right for legal consensus of activity suitability for anyone under the age of 16 years at the time of participation at the Redhills Adventure site or any off-site event/s held by Redhills Adventure Ltd. We reserve the right to retention of data for 5 years unless expressly requested to remove your data and in no way affects your statutory rights.
ALL ACTIVITIES OPERATE WITH MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS. I AM AWARE OF THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ACTIVITIES I HAVE BOOKED. ALL NON-PARTICIPATING VISITORS TO THE CENTRE E.G. PARENTS, DRIVERS, TEACHERS, LEADERS, COACHES, SNAS ETC. MUST SIGN OUR VISITOR LOG AND ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE ACTIVITY ZONES REQUIRING FACE PROTECTION UNLESS REQUESTED BY THE STAFF.
YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION WITH A QR CODE AFTER SUBMISSION!
PLEASE RETAIN AND PRESENT YOUR QR CODE FOR SCANNING ON SITE THE DAY OF THE EVENT. IT IS YOUR / YOUR CHILD'S ENTRY TICKET. PRINTED OR DIGITAL QR CODE ACCEPTED - PLEASE FORWARD DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVE IF REQUIRED. PRIMARY SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THEIR QR CODES ON THE DAY - A ROLL CALL WILL BE COMPLETED FOR CHECK-IN.
