RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK WAIVER FOR NERF NITE ACTIVITIES SPONSORED
BY “KidsPlay Indoor Play Centre.”
KidsPlay Indoor Play Centre reserves the right to cancel or withdraw a registration of any individual or group based on
improper
behaviour and conduct by a participant and/or parent/guardian.
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
- All Nerf Nite and Nerf Party participants must be 7 years of age or older.
- Participants aged 7-17 years must have parental or legal guardian consent by signing this waiver and entering the play area without an adult.
SAFETY RULES + CODE OF CONDUCT
These rules are in place for the safety of all participants. It is the responsibility of the participant and/or parent/guardian to ensure that they are followed. Failure to comply may result in removal from the activity without refund.
- Eye protection (provided by KidsPlay or personally owned) must be worn correctly at all times during Nerf activities.
- Deliberate shooting at another participant's head or face is strictly prohibited.
- Shooting at close range is not permitted.
- Shooting at unarmed participants is not permitted.
- Only darts provided by KidsPlay may be used.
- All Nerf play is permitted only in the main play area. No shooting is allowed in the dining area, party rooms, cafe or entry.
- Rules of fair play will be explained prior to game start.
- Repeated unsafe or unfair behaviour will result in warnings.
- Participants may be removed from the game or asked to leave the premises at the discretion of KidsPlay staff.
- All KidsPlay equipment must remain on the premises and returned to the Cafe at the end of the activity or before leaving.
KidsPlay Indoor Play Centre assumes no responsibility for injuries caused by negligent behaviour, failure to wear eye protection, or failure to follow staff instructions.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I acknowledge that participation in Nerf Night activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury. I voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with participation for myself an/or my child.
I certify that I have read and understand tall safety rules and agree to fully comply with them.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in activities at KidsPlay Indoor Play Centre, I hereby release, waive, discharge and hold harmless KidsPlay Indoor Play Centre its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, disability, death or property damage sustained during participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
This release applies to myself and/or my child, and to our heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin.
GENERAL LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
I acknowledge that recreational activities at KidsPlay Indoor Play Centre involve inherent risks. I voluntarily assume all risks of injury or damage while on the premises or participating in activities.
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KidsPlay Indoor Play Centre and its agents and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from my or my child's participation, including those resulting from negligent acts or omissions.
PHOTOGRAPH & MEDIA RELEASE
I grant permission for myself and/or my child to be photographed or recorded while participating in KidsPlay Indoor Play Centre activities. I consent to the use of such images or recordings for promotional, advertising, or marketing purposes in any media.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & SIGNATURE
I have read and fully understand this Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Waiver. I sign it voluntarily and agree to be legally bound by its terms.
