JERICHO PADDLING CLUB CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY
Jericho Paddling Club (JPC) is committed to a safe, harassment-free environment for all our members. JPC promotes a culture of respect, where all people are treated with dignity. This code of conduct guides the actions of the board, and outlines what is expected of all members.
Policy
All members of JPC must:
• treat each other with respect, dignity and fairness at all times by:
⁃ not using derogatory language towards others
⁃ treating people with courtesy
⁃ demonstrating ethical behaviour, mutual respect, and good sportsmanship
• adhere to the operational and safety policies of the JPC
• agree to all aspects of the Jericho Sailing Club Association Harassment Policy Initial Here
• act in the best interests of JPC
JPC Board
Board members are expected to make decisions that benefit the community and are free from undue influence.
Board members cannot act or appear to act in order to gain financial or other benefits for themselves, family, friends, or business interests.
Board members have a duty to be as open as possible about their decisions and actions. This means sharing information to encourage participation, communicating clearly, and providing a way for feedback.
