Double J Riding Club May Shareboard Lease Agreement:
Lease Period, May 3rd- May 30th. This lease agreement on horse selected covers the one month period stated above. This lease is for the above mentioned horse for the days and times previously agreed upon between lessee and lessor. Lessee will ride in a 30 minute private lesson on assigned days and times. The lease covers 4 private lessons during the above time period. There are no makeups for missed share board days. Lease amount is $240 for the month of May payable within 24 hours of agreement of time slot and signing lease contract.
Lease agrees to abide by the following rules:
-Will arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to lease time and leave no later than 10 minutes after
-Notify Double J Riding Club prior to riding time if personal tack will be used
-Refrain from grooming and tacking horse before or after lesson as the tacker will be responsible for this
-Keep a 6 foot minimum distance from tacker and instructor during lease ride
-Always wear an ASTM approved riding helmet
-I will wear gloves at all times at Double J Riding Club
-Wash hands prior to arriving to the barn and use hand sanitizer when needed
-Encouraged to wear a mask before and after ride when on site
-I will stay home if myself or any member in the household is sick
-Parents and siblings must remain in the car at all times
-Follow all instructions from barn staff
-Lease is in effect regardless of weather or rider’s ability to come out
-Should horse become lame or ill, lease is still in effect and lessee will be assigned a new horse to ride
-Entering the tack room or office is strictly prohibited unless obtaining personal items in designated tack boxes on premise
-Do not touch anything that does not belong to you
-If weather is nice all lessee rides will be conducting in outdoor arena, instructor will have full say of which arena they will be using that day
-Sitting in the aisle is strictly prohibited if you need to change shoes please do so outside or while standing
-Never kneel next to your horse
-Please make sure stirrups are adjusted and girth are tightened before entering the arena to guarantee lesson begins as quickly as possible
-After lesson please hand horse to tacker to put away
-All tack, clips, doorknobs and surfaces will be continuously sanitized
-Please remember that safety is key!
Shareboarding a Double J horse is a privilege. If you break these rules you will receive 1 warning. Legal Guardian and lessee will be promptly notified if a rule is broken. If you break these rules a second time you will be excused from share boarding and no refund will be given.
