GENERAL RELEASE/HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT for Camp Harvest and Cultivate Churches
All participants must sign this GENERAL RELEASE/HOLD HARMLESS ("Agreement") in order to participate in any activities or utilize any camp facilities owned by Cultivate Churches d.b.a. Camp Harvest.
The undersigned desires to participate in various programs, events, or activities (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Activities") operated or sponsored by Camp Harvest, a ministry of Cultivate Churches (herein referred to as "Camp Harvest").
In consideration of participating in the Activities at Camp Harvest, located at 6829 East 72nd Street in Newaygo, Michigan 49337, the undersigned understands and acknowledges that a participant may incur personal or bodily damage while participating in these Activities, and assumes all risks inherent in these Activities and accepts full and complete responsibility for any and all damages or injuries of any kind, including death.
The Activities may include, but are not limited to:
- High-adventure courses such as ziplining, ropes courses, and rock climbing
- Water-based activities including swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing
- Team sports and recreational games including basketball, volleyball, and capture the flag
- Wilderness exploration including hiking
- Archery and other target sports
- Bonfires
The undersigned acknowledges that these Activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, water-related incidents, collisions, accidents, wildlife encounters, and exposure to the elements.
The undersigned further understands and acknowledges that Camp Harvest would not allow an individual to participate in such Activities without releasing and holding harmless Camp Harvest and all affiliates.
The undersigned agrees to release and forever discharge Camp Harvest, its officers, pastors, directors, employees, and volunteers from all actions, claims, damages, costs, liens, expenses, or lawsuits of any kind growing out of, or related to, any Activities on Camp Harvest property, in consideration for participating in the Activities.
The undersigned further acknowledges that this is a full and complete release for all injuries and damages, which the undersigned may sustain as a result of their participation in any Activity on Camp Harvest property.
FIREARM & SHOOTING RANGE PARTICIPATION WAIVER
This section covers participation in shooting sports at Stillwater Reserve.
Acknowledgement of Risks: Participants acknowledge the inherent risks of shooting sports, including accidental discharge, ricochets, ear injury from gunfire, and other hazards that could result in serious injury or death. Participants agree to wear proper eye and ear protection at all times while using the shooting range.
Waiver and Release: The undersigned releases and holds harmless Stillwater Reserve, its employees, agents, and volunteers, from any and all liability arising from injury, property damage, or death that may occur while participating in shooting sports.
Participants confirm they are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, are legally permitted to handle firearms, and are fully aware of the risks involved.

PAINTBALL PARTICIPATION WAIVER
This section covers participation in paintball activities at Stillwater Reserve.
Acknowledgement of Risks:
Participants acknowledge the inherent risks of participating in paintball activities, including but not limited to the potential for impact injuries from paintballs, bruising, eye injury, and other hazards that could result in serious injury. Participants agree to wear proper safety equipment, including eye and face protection, at all times while engaging in paintball activities. Participants also understand that paintball can be physically demanding and may involve running, dodging, and other strenuous movements on uneven terrain.
Waiver and Release:
The undersigned releases and holds harmless Stillwater Reserve, its employees, agents, and volunteers, from any and all liability arising from injury, property damage, or death that may occur while participating in paintball activities.
Health and Safety:
Participants confirm they are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, are physically capable of participating in paintball activities, and are fully aware of the risks involved. Participants agree to follow all safety rules and instructions provided by Stillwater Reserve staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
