Kung Fu Class

  1. Risk to me: I acknowledge that the training provided by Choy Lee Fut Sydney Pty Ltd ACN 601 787 044 (the School) comes with an element of risk. To mitigate my risk I agree to:
    • Disclose all pre-existing conditions, injuries, health problems and any other factor that may impact my training to the School before I start training.
    • Exercise reasonable personal judgement in assessing whether I am capable of performing any prescribed exercise on a case-by-case basis.
    • Stop training if I incur any injury, feel unwell or am uncomfortable continuing and seek the advice of an instructor.
    • Receive any first aid from an instructor of The School if they deem it necessary.
    • Follow any instructions of the teacher/teachers teaching the class at all times.
  2. Risk to others: I understand the training could result in injury (or death) to others. To minimise this risk, I agree to use the training provided by the School only for:
    • Health/fitness
    • Self-defence (and if confronted will exercise a level of response appropriate to the situation)
    • Competition/display/demonstration purposes. 
  3. Property: I agree to not leave any valuables unattended at the School and agree to release the School from any liability resulting in the loss of valuables.
  4. Joining the school: If I decide to continue training past my free trial, I agree to:
    • Pay the relevant fees in advance of attending further training or speak to an instructor if I am unable to.
    • Receive relevant communications about classes and other events at the school via email/SMS/Whatsapp. I understand that I can opt out of these at any time.
    • Refrain from teaching any of the techniques I learn at the School to other people unless I am a formal member of the School's instructor program.
  5. Waivers:
    • To the maximum extent permitted by law, I release the School, its directors, employees, volunteers and other students from, and waive any rights to, any claim for liability or damages for personal injury, disease, deterioration of health or death, arising either during the term of instruction or any time thereafter, caused by my participation in the training. This is the case whether the damages are to me or to another person.
    • To the maximum extent permitted by the COMPETITION AND CONSUMER ACT 2010 - SECT 139A, I acknowledge and agree that the School excludes all liability to me for death or injury resulting from a failure by the School to comply with any statutory guarantee.
  6. Interpretation: If any part of this agreement is found to be illegal, void or unenforceable, it is considered to be deleted and does not invalidate the rest of this agreement. This agreement supersedes all previous agreements in relation to the subject matters contained in this agreement.
