Clean Up & Damages:

The room must be vacated and emptied of all items brought into it by the renter: food, decor, garbage, etc., prior to the contract end time. Failure to do so will result in a penalty of $50.00/every 15 minutes past the end time. The room rented must be left in the same condition as found at the beginning of the rental period, noted on the Room Rental Checklist.

 

Valid credit card information is required on the date of the event for a damage deposit. CGRA will hold this information for the duration of your event. Charges will apply if any damage occurs during your rental, up to $500.00. Damages will be assessed and settled following the rental period.

Late Bookings:

A staffing fee of $50.00/hour applies to all rentals booked past 9:00 pm in addition to the room rental rates.

Decor:

Only painter's tape or sticky putty is permitted for decorating. Absolutely no scotch tape, masking tape, nails, tacks or staples are permitted.

Alcohol & Insurance:

If alcohol is served, you must obtain a liquor permit and post it to a wall in the rental room for your rental duration. CGRA reserves the right to shut down any booking serving alcohol without a proper licence. It is your responsibility to follow the guidelines of your Liquor Permit: www.aglc.gov.ab.caAlcohol is only permitted in the room specified on the contract. Alcohol is not permitted in the park.

 

It is the renter's responsibility to obtain insurance for the event. Guests are not covered under the Chappelle Gardens Residents Association insurance. Therefore, the renter is liable for any incidents that may occur. Additional event insurance can be purchased through www.palcanada.com.

Paperwork:

Renters will be required to complete a Room Rental Checklist with a CGRA staff member before and after the event.

The guest list must be completed and submitted to CGRA 1 week prior to the event. A CGRA staff member will check-in each guest upon arrival.

By signing this agreement, you understand the rules and expectations of renting with the CGRA and acknowledging if these policies are not met, the CGRA can cancel the event.

Items will be set up upon your arrival, and you are able to arrange them as you require for your event. If you require additional items, you can request them to a staff member on the day of the event.

NOTES:

Each table can fit up to 8 guests. Tables are rectangular in shape. Food and beverage tables will be dressed in black linens. Some restrictions may apply to quantity of requested items depending on the room rented (capacity and space restrictions)
