IN CONSIDERATION OF the risk of injury that exists while participating in CAMP CREW SUMMER DAY CAMP (hereinafter the "Activity"); and IN CONSIDERATION OF my desire to participate in said Activity and being given the right to participate in same; I HEREBY, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives (hereinafter collectively, "Releasor," "I" or "me", which terms shall also include Releasor's parents or guardian if Releasor is under 18 years of age), knowingly and voluntarily enter into this WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in the Activity; and I HEREBY release and forever discharge CAMP CREW STAFF/CELIO RANCH, located at 2820 S Upper Truckee Rd, South Lake Tahoe, California 96150, their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns (collectively "Releasees"), from any physical or psychological injury that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity.


AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE AFOREMENTIONED ACTIVITY AND I AM PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITY ENTIRELY AT MY OWN RISK. I AM AWARE OF THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY, WHICH MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: PHYSICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY, PAIN, SUFFERING, ILLNESS, DISFIGUREMENT, TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT DISABILITY (INCLUDING PARALYSIS), ECONOMIC OR EMOTIONAL LOSS, AND DEATH. I UNDERSTAND THAT THESE INJURIES OR OUTCOMES MAY ARISE FROM MY OWN OR OTHERS' NEGLIGENCE, CONDITIONS RELATED TO TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE ACTIVITY, ORFROM CONDITIONS AT THE ACTIVITY LOCATION(S). NONETHELESS, I ASSUME ALL RELATED RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN TO ME, OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACTIVITY. I FURTHER AGREE to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Releasees against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney's fees and any related costs.


I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS "WAIVER AND RELEASE" AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I EXPRESSLY AGREE TO RELEASE AND DISCHARGE Camp Crew Staff/Celio Ranch AND ALL OF ITS AFFILIATES, MANAGERS, MEMBERS, AGENTS, ATTORNEYS, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, HEIRS, REPRESENTATIVES, PREDECESSORS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION AND I AGREE TO VOLUNTARILY GIVE UP OR WAIVE ANY RIGHT THAT I OTHERWISE HAVE TO BRING A LEGAL ACTION AGAINST Camp Crew Staff/Celio Ranch FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.


To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit releases for ordinary negligence, this release is also for such negligence on the part of Camp Crew Staff/Celio Ranch, its agents, and employees. I agree that this Release shall be governed for all purposes by California law, without regard to any conflict of law principles. This Release supersedes any and all previous oral or written promises or other agreements. In the event that any damage to equipment or facilities occurs as a result of my or my family's or my agent's willful actions, neglect or recklessness, I acknowledge and agree to be held liable for any and all costs associated with any such actions of neglect or recklessness.


THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE DURATION OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY, DURING THIS INITIAL AND ALL SUBSEQUENT EVENTS OF PARTICIPATION.


THIS AGREEMENT was entered into at arm's-length, without duress or coercion, and is to be interpreted as an agreement between two parties of equal bargaining strength. Both Participant and Camp Crew Staff/Celio Ranch agree that this agreement is clear and unambiguous as to its terms, and that no other evidence shall be used or admitted to alter or explain the terms of this agreement, but that it will be interpreted based on the language in accordance with the purposes for which it is entered into.


In the event that any provision contained within this Release of Liability shall be deemed to be severable or invalid, or if any term, condition, phrase or portion of this agreement shall be determined to be unlawful or otherwise unenforceable, the remainder of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect. If a court should find that any provision of this agreement to be invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting said provision it would become valid and enforceable, then said provision shall be deemed to be written, construed and enforced as so limited.


I, THE UNDERSIGNED PARTICIPANT, AFFIRM THAT I AM OF THE AGE OF 18 YEARS OR OLDER, AND THAT I AM FREELY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT. I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, THAT I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT AND THAT THIS RELEASE CANNOT BE MODIFIED ORALLY. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND THAT I AM SIGNING IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL. SINCE THE PARTICIPANT IS A MINOR, THIS RELEASE IS HEREBY SIGNED AND DATED BY THE MINOR’S PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. * **

*All campers must have the following to attend Camp Crew: backpack, water bottle, swim suite, towel, sunscreen (if desired), snacks, LUNCH, and river shoes/sandals that WILL NOT FALL OFF.

**Absolutely NO toys at camp. Camp Crew is not responsible for and will not assume responsibility for any toys that are brought, lost, stolen, or broken at camp.


PARENTAL CONSENT FOR TREATMENT OF MINORS IN CASE OF ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT

Parental permission must be obtained before medical treatment can be rendered to persons under 18 years of age. The following consent form should be signed by parent or guardian so that indicated care might be given with no unnecessary delay. No major procedure will be performed except in extreme emergency, without parents being notified and fully informed. In the event that a parent does not want treatment rendered under any circumstance, they should cross out the work “GIVE” on the form below and insert the word “REFUSE”. Please note that your child may not participate in the camp until we receive the parents’ consent form.

I GIVE PERMISSION TO THE CAMP CREW STAFF TO GIVE SIMPLE FIRST AID CARE TO MY SON/DAUGHTER. THIS INCLUDES, BANDAIDS, AND/OR SOAP/WATER ON MINOR SCRAPES/SCRATCHES. I KNOW THAT ANY CARE GIVEN TO MY SON/DAUGHTER IT WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO THE BEST OF THE CAMP CREW STAFF AND DIRECTOR’S ABILITY. I GIVE PERMISSION TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL STAFF TO CARRY OUT NECESSARY LIFE SAVING CARE FOR MY SON/DAUGHTER IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. AND ALSO, SUCH PROCEDURE TO BE CARRIED OUT AT THE LOCAL HOSPITAL IN THE EVENT THAT MY SON/DAUGHTER HAS BEEN SENT OR TAKEN THERE FOR IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY CARE.

Start the summer with an epic adventure! 🗺️ Campers will explore the ranch, solve clues, and complete team challenges as they race toward a hidden prize. 🧩🌄 Each day brings a new location and a new mystery—leading to a big reward at the end of the week! 🎉🏆







Celebrate America with a week full of creativity and color! 🎨 Campers will enjoy a special art project led by a guest artist. They will also create their own red, white, and blue tie-dye bandanas to take home. ❤️🤍💙 With hands-on activities, team fun, and patriotic spirit, this week is all about expressing creativity and celebrating together! 🎉







Get ready to build, create, and give back to nature! 🛠️🌲 Campers will decorate and take home their very own birdhouse, plus work as a team to place special birdhouses around the ranch for our local mountain chickadees or any feathery friend who needs a home. 🐦🏡 We’ll also welcome a special guest who will teach us about Lake Tahoe’s wildlife and how we can help protect it. 🌎✨







It’s time for campers to shine! 🎤✨ Whether performing solo, with a partner, or as a group, campers will create and practice their own 2-minute act to perform in our exciting end-of-week Talent Show. From singing and dancing to gymnastics, comedy, and more—every camper gets a chance to build confidence, express creativity, and take the stage! 🎭🎶🎉 Show time is on Thursday the 16 at 2:30pm. Please try not to pick up your camper early during talent show week!







Who says Christmas only comes once a year?! 🎅☀️ Campers will celebrate with snowman-building contests, epic snowball fights, and festive games all week long—right in the middle of summer! ❄️🎁 With surprises, laughter, and even a special guest from the Department of Transportation, this week is packed with silly fun and holiday cheer Camp CREW style! 🎉







Get ready to splash into the ultimate summer fun! ☀️💧 Campers will cool off with giant inflatable water slides, slip-and-slide races, and action-packed water games all week long. From water shooters to team challenges, this week is all about high-energy fun, laughter, and staying cool under the summer sun! 🌊🎉







Fuel your body and learn new skills! 🥕 Campers will create their own fruit leather, make homemade jerky, and enjoy a fresh organic fruit salad by the end of the week. 🍓🥩🍊 With hands-on food prep and a special guest sharing real-life tips on food preservation, this week is all about building healthy habits and learning skills that last a lifetime! 🌿✨







🎪✨ Week 8 – The Grand Finale: Summer Carnival! 🍿🎉 The summer may be winding down, but camp is going out with a BANG! Our final week is all about celebrating an unforgettable season of adventure, friendship, and fun. Campers will jump into classic games, take one last river adventure, and cool off on our inflatable water features before the grand finale arrives. There’ll be running, splashing, sliding, and all the camp craziness we’ve come to love! 💦☀️🏃‍♂️ And then—drumroll please... 🥁—Thursday is Carnival Day! The camp transforms into a festive wonderland, complete with slushies, cotton candy, popcorn, carnival games, and real prizes! Campers will celebrate the memories they’ve made all summer long with one final burst of joy, laughter, and just a little bit of sugar. 😉🍬 It’s the week campers wait for all summer—and it’s the perfect way to say: THANK YOU, SUMMER! 🎠💛
