I. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
The Renter acknowledges the equipment and the terms of this Agreement. AWL agrees to provide the Renter with the equipment/s mentioned in this comment.
II. LIABILITY
The Renter acknowledges that they know how to properly use the gear for the safety of themselves and the protection of the equipment. The Renter knowledges that outdoor recreation activities are dangerous and come with risk. As the Renter, you agree to inspect the gear to make sure it is fully functional. If the gear malfunctions during use, Adventures Without Limits is in no way liable for your safety.
By signing this document, you agree to assume all risks and liability while using this equipment and Adventures Without Limits is in no way responsible for your safety or the care of the equipment.
III. ALTERATIONS, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Renters using AWL equipment will be held responsible for any damage that results from abuse or misuse of the equipment. As the Renter, it is your responsibility to assess the condition of the gear upon pick up and to write down any current damage to gear being rented and record that information on the rental agreement form. These damages should be pointed out to AWL staff so they have a clear understanding of the condition of the gear prior to being rented.
A. The Renter shall keep the property in good condition.
B. The Renter will be responsible for any damage caused which means the Renter will cover all of the expenses in fixing it.
C. The Renter will be responsible for the loss of equipment. The Renter agrees to pay or replace the equipment.
D. Written permission from AWL for any alterations.
E. The Renter is obliged to return the equipment in good condition including clean & dry.
IV. OTHER RULES
A. The Renter agrees not to allow the usage of the equipment by an unauthorized person.
B. The Renter agrees not to use the equipment in a way to disturb the peace in the surroundings or in the environment.
C. The Renter agrees not to use the equipment in violation of the law.
V. PAYMENTS
The renter agrees to pay the agreed amount of the rental. A deposit of $50 will be required for standard ski and snowshoe packages, $150 for kayak and canoe packages and $500 for all adaptive gear. Please provide credit card information with this form (preferred) or provide a check during pickup. No charges will be made to your credit card and/or the check will not be cashed unless The Renter damages or fails to return the equipment in proper working order as determined by AWL and this agreement. If AWL deems that charges are necessary, The Renter will be notified prior to any charges being made.

Your signature indicates that you have reviewed this document in its entirety and agree to all terms and conditions.
