New Features! Email and print waiver options for Customers

October 11, 2016

Once again we've received some really awesome feedback from our customers which has helped us develop more new features. A huge thank you to everyone who has sent in your comments!

We're excited once again to announce some great new features inspired by real-world customer feedback. You will now have the option to enable copies of waivers be sent to customers via email, and also to allow customers to print a copy of their waiver after they complete it.

There are a few options available, so let's go over them now.

Email Waivers to Customers

There are a few options here. If you haven't changed the setting, all existing WaiverFile sites will have this option disabled, so you'll want to go in and enable it if it's something you want to offer your customers.

Here's how to enable it this feature:
  • In your site admin, go to Settings >> Site Settings. Once there, on the bottom-right, look at the option 'Email Copy to Customer'.
  • By default, it is set to 'Do not send'.
  • The next option is 'Offer to Send'. If you select this option, customers will see an 'Email me a Copy'. (See screenshot below). Clicking this will send the customer a complete copy of their waiver.
  • The next option is 'Always Send'. When this option is selected, customers will be emailed a copy of their waiver as soon as they have completed it.
WaiverFile confirmation screen

Depending on the option you select, customers will be presented with the corresponding options after they complete their waiver form.

Note that if customers are viewing the waiver on the device version (device-yoursite.waiverfile.com) then the print option will be disabled. The device version is intended for on-site tablets and/or kiosks, so printing would not be applicable there.
